BigBite Calibration
What have I been doing this week?
A.) Still working on BigBite Optics NIM paper:
Made some new plots.
1.)
2.)
B.) Problems with FARM analysis
Farm computer farml5 was decommisioned. Had to recompile my analysis software for a new system.
Analysis seems to be working again.
C.) TgY Matrix Element relevance:
3.)
4.)
5.)
6.)
D.) TgPh angle correction:
7.)
Non-dispersive angle coorection according to Penner:
\delta \phi = -(y/R)tan(\beta)
I have estimated this correction and it is not negligible. Therefore I will correct my
BB drawing. However, BigBite central bending angle is 25deg (according to NIKHEF),
while exit-face angle is 20deg. Therefore I believe this correction does not cancel out in
the end. Small correction remains. To be sure, I will check Penner paper one more time.
