Meeting #120
Results with Zilu's omega cut:
Zilu suggested to check, how the asymmetries change if only events
with omega~90MeV are considered:
1.)
Results with Theta Cut:
Zilu also suggested a cut on polar angle between target spin and missing momentum.
Therefore I checked, what I get, if I consider only events that are less than 25deg
away from 85deg.
2.)
Results with Theta Cut:
Zilu also pointed out, that Nitrogen dilution factor should not be considered in the
deuteron channel. Therefore I modified the dilution and recalculated the asymmetry.
There is also an issue of the beam polarization.
3.) (old)
4.) (new)
MCEEP simulation
I continued with the MCEEP simulation. I am trying to incorporate MCEEP into my simulation. However, the problem
is, that MCEEP simulation is not affected by the event cuts that I use. This causes the discrepancy
between the simulation and the data, although they agreed when looking at raw histograms. See figures below:
5.)
6.)
7.)
(red) - Elastic + QE deuteron data
(blue) - Elastic Raw MCEEP simulation
(cyan) - Elastic Raw MCEEP simulation using my script
(violet) - Elastic deuteron data using my script.
Therefore, I decided to check which cuts take most of my events away (one more time) and then correct
simulation for this discrepancy.
When no events cuts are used:
8.)
No PID cut:
9.)
